How to Sync Your SteamLinx Mobile App with Your Steam Shower System

If your SteamLinx Mobile App isn't connecting to your Steam Shower System, don't worry - we can help! Below are some instructions for troubleshooting that will help you get set up in no time. 

 

Spinning wheelSpinning Wheel 

If you are getting the "spinning wheel" this means your mobile device can't find the SteamLinx. This could be happening for a few reasons.  

  1. Make sure that your mobile device is connected to the same WiFi network that your SteamLinx is connected to. 
  2. Make sure the two SteamLinx blue box modules are within 60 feet of each other. If they’re further apart they won’t be able to talk to one another.
  3. Check both blue box modules to make sure they are getting power. Both should have a solid blue LED light on.
  4. If your mobile device went to sleep while downloading or updating the SteamLinx app, you might have difficulty. If this happened, delete the app, reinstall it, and try to connect to the system again. 

Connection failedConnection with SteamLinx Failed 

If you get the message that the connection with SteamLinx failed, try the following: 

  1. Check both blue box modules to make sure they are getting power. Both should have a solid blue LED light on.
  2. If your mobile device went to sleep while downloading or updating the SteamLinx app, you might have difficulty. If this happened, delete the app, reinstall it, and try to connect to the system again. 

No Bars 

If you are seeing no bars when you try to connect:

  1. Make sure you are within 100 feet of your system. 
  2. Once you are close enough, the signal indicator will turn green.
