Mr. Steam Unveils New Stainless Steel Series 300 Towel Warmers, Including Freestanding Floor Model

LONG ISLAND CITY, NEW YORK (MARCH 18, 2011)—Mr. Steam has expanded its offering of bathroom towel warmers with the new Series 300, made of high-quality stainless steel with two attractive finishes: polished and brushed stainless. Featuring a sleek contemporary design, the new collection includes a freestanding floor model in addition to three wall-mounted units of varying sizes. “The freestanding option, which is unique to our Series 300, allows the towel warmer to be moved closer to the point of use in the bathroom or elsewhere in the home,” explains Martha Orellana, vice president of sales and marketing. “A number of our customers have specifically asked for that flexibility and portability.”

The floor-mounted model also includes:

• a six-foot, factory-installed power cord for simple “plug-and-play” operation;

• an on-off switch at the top of one of the upright bars, eliminating the need to bend down to activate the unit.

Mr. Steam offers a digital 24-hour timer for convenient pre-start and automatic shutoff for both the plug-in and hard-wire models, which also can be easily controlled by a separate on/off wall switch. The power cord is optional on the wall-mounted models.

The Series 300 also features a new, faster-acting heating technology: Instead of a heated glycol solution circulating through the unit, an electric wire is threaded through the cross bars. Voltage through that wire heats the metal directly, resulting in a shorter warm-up period. A built-in aromatherapy oil well is standard in all units.
